Jiro Dreams of Sushi20118712(full review) - This guy loves what he does and he has the secret to his success all spelled out.
Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck20158712(full review) - The ending left something to be desired, as it capped off an otherwise excellent, insightful documentary into one of the most interesting personalities of the 1990s.
Love & Mercy20158712
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl20158712
Southpaw20158712(full review) - Brutal and heart-felt. A great boxing movie.
Spy20158712 - If we don't get a sequel to this film, I'll be disappointed.
The Equalizer20148712
The Theory of Everything20148712 - Some of the scenes felt unfinished whose implications were quite important. Great performances, great story, very good film otherwise. The ending suffered a bit.
Mad Max: Fury Road20158622(full review)
Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation20158622
12 Years a Slave20138524
American Sniper20148524
Fruitvale Station20138524 - It's disappointing that Crash got a Best Picture Oscar and this wasn't even nominated. Different years, but Fruitvale is far superior.
Kingsman: The Secret Service20158524
The Man from U.N.C.L.E.20158524(full review)
The Peanuts Movie20158524
Before Midnight20138432

Kill the Messenger20148335
Monsters University20138335
Spare Parts20158335 - Uplifting film based on a true story that absolutely deserves to be told AND HEARD!
The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Him20138335
The Great Dictator19408335 - The first 100 minutes of the film are good, but do little push forward the final plot piece of the film. The ending to an otherwise great film seems more like a soapbox piece than anything else.
The One I Love20148335(full review)
The Third Man19498335 - Solid mystery with a nice twist, but the ending could be improved and the music choices were completely off the emotional mark.
Jurassic World20158246
The Judge20148246
Big Eyes20148049
Butler, The (2013 F Whitaker by Lee Daniels)20138049
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes20148049 - The series got a significant improvement from the first installment. Very interested to see how they follow it up.
In a World...20138049(full review)
Joy20158049(full review)
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior19818049(full review)
Mr. Holmes20158049 - A bit slow, but very nicely crafted. Tells the tale about Holmes struggling with issues in the one area which has always served as his greatest asset.
Mr. Peabody & Sherman20148049
Stand by Me19868049
Wedding Ringer, The20158049
Let's Be Cops20147964
Begin Again20147865

Out of the Furnace20137865
Transformers: Age of Extinction20147671
Bad Teacher20117572
Stretch20147572(full review)
The Interview20147572 - The highly entertaining second half made up for a lame start to the film. Randall Park stole the show.
Total Recall (1990)19907572
Fantastic Four20157376(full review)
Space Jam19967376 - Basically a history lesson about Michael Jordan's foray into baseball and return to basketball, mixed with some Looney Toons. Bill Murray really helps make it decent.
DUFF, The20157078
Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978)19787078
Justice League: The New Frontier20087078
The Intern20157078 - The ending was disappointingly flat and uninspired. It felt like the writer got a more interesting project and just decided to wrap things up. The rest of the movie was interesting, albeit a little cheesey. There are at least four acceptable directions the ending could have gone, and they just pulled the proverbial plug.
The Sheik20147078
Transporter, The20027078
The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Her20136885 - Doesn't work very well at all without the HIM version first. Disappointing, yet, still decent.
Larry Crowne20116587 - Totally contrived, unnatural dialogue, very hokie, but I was somehow entertained. Whether I was laughing with the movie or at the movie, I was at least laughing.
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome19856587(full review)
Pixels20156587(full review)
Someone Marry Barry20146587
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly20076587(full review) - Exceptionally well acted, good story, but the ending comes out of nowhere. I realize it's a true story, but the film just ends. Highly over-rated.
A Million Ways to Die in the West20146093 - A well-made movie that only made me laugh twice in the first 80 minutes of the film, and about a dozen times in the 40 which followed. Fun cameos though.
Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS. Evil20116093
Nut Job, The20146093
Mad Max19795396(full review) - Very forgettable, aside from possibly one or two scenes.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy20115097 - One of the most confusing movies I've seen. Had it been constructed and prsented better, the story lends itself to being something special. Some audiences will appreciate the film in its first viewing, but most will not. That's a failure of the director and producers. It could have been excellent with its top-notch cast.
Hangover Part III, The20134598 - I didn't laugh out loud until the post-credits scene.
Crash20044499(full review) - Too contrived, and although the story is interestingly complex, the dialogue is sub-par and the characters are way too stereotypical. Huge disappointment.
The Ridiculous 6201540100 - just sooooo boring.
