Bryan Lienesch | 98 | - Might be EVEN better than The Dark Knight, which is saying something. Just such a brilliantly executed film from every angle. Once again Christopher Nolan sets the bar very, very high. | Comedy: 3 Sex Appeal: 4 Scary: 3 Rewatch: 9 |

Dan O'Neill | 95 | - Though it may be very long, The Dark Knight Rises delivers on every spectrum: acting, writing, directing, cinematography, score, etc. It’s exactly what you could want in a summer blockbuster, and superhero movie, but it’s also exactly what you could want in a film that’s saying “adios” to all of its characters that it’s introduced to us for the past 7 years and it’s a legacy that I won’t forget. That’s for damn sure. (full review)

Jim Carrier | 95 | - I can't wait til the next one. After having Scarecrow, The Joker, Two Face & Bane...Riddler, The Penguin, Poison Ivy & more are still left and you have the emergence of Robin & Catwoman coming out in full force for the next one. This was great, but it's only going to get better...as long as Joel Schumacher has nothing to do with it. | Comedy: 3 Sex Appeal: 4 Scary: 4 Rewatch: 9 |

Donnie Guthrie | 90 | - The only thing holding me back from giving this movie a ten, is the acting. Marion Cotillard who played "Miranda" was pretty sub par in this flick. I also am hesitant of giving it a 10 because of the ending, great suspense leading up and then Marion Cotillard ruined it... Excited for the next one though! Crossing fingers.

Nick Ledgerwood | 80 | - The internet community, for reasons I do not understand, has given the movie an ungodly amount of shit. I watched it as part of a movie marathon with both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and, framed in such a way, I found it to be a worthy conclusion to Nolan’s Batman saga. Where there aspects I didn’t like? Yes. But there were way more things that I loved about it. I think Tom Hardy was amazing as Bane, that the plot twist was pulled off very well (even if it was a bit predictable), and that it closed out the story nicely. I especially loved that the ending was, in my opinion, open to interpretation. I for one like to believe that Wayne did not survive and that Alfred is merely living out, once again, the fantasy that he has put forth earlier in the film.
