Many a villain has tried to vanquish Captain America, but when it came time for Captain America to drop from its reign in the top spot at the box office earnings list, it was a group of women who ousted him. The Other Woman debuted with $24.7 M in earnings, besting the second installment in the Captain America series, with The Winter Soldier able to earn just $16 M. That total was good enough to fend off the rest of its competition, however. Brick Mansions debuted in the 5th spot, with $9.6 M and The Quiet Ones pulled in $4 M.
