- It was just so...different. I feel like originality is super rare when it comes to movies these days, and this one actually kept me guesting from start to finish.
- I enjoyed it for what it was, but the book is a hundred times better. Most people know that I'm a shameless Stephen King fan and I love almost everything that he's ever written. King has mentioned time and time again that dealing with Kubrick was a huge pain in the ass during this movie because the guy was so pretentious about questioning King's work. Kubrick being rude as shit and hard to work with is what lead King to approach his own adaption of the book via The Shining mini-series that came out a long time ago.
- I'm probably one of the few that didn't dig Zombieland all that much. I hate Jesse Eisenberg and can barely sit through anything he stars in. I did enjoy the intro and most of the soundtrack.
